During the spring and early summer of 2020 three new supervisors for student work on the on-board software have been hired. Left to right: Elias Johansson, William Stackenäs, and Erik Flink. They will take over from John Wikman who has completed his M.Sc. degree and left KTH after having put the MIST on-board software on a “solid footing”. Thanks a million, John!
Erik has just completed his B.Sc. thesis within MIST – how to fragment and de-fragment large data blocks that are transmitted over MIST’s radio channel which only supports smaller blocks.
In addition to supervising students that work on the onboard software, the supervisors will also develop software for MIST themselves.
